# Token Use Case

F1D is the core lego part that is built around the F1 Dog economy. Therefore, it has multiple use cases to create a sustainable gaming ecosystem as follows:

* **Governance:** Users stake F1D to take part in governing F1 Dog. Game revenue is collected in the Community Treasury, which is governed by F1D stakers.
* **Staking and Earning Yield:** Like other protocols, F1D holders can stake to get passive income and get yield on the platform.
* **Mint** in-game NFTs.
* **Repair** NFTs with reduced durability. 
* **Used for unlocking** the socket, updating gems or leveling up NFTs,… 
* **Swap** to other tokens in the app.
* **In-game shopping:** F1D can be used to pay for items in the game shop.
